GHR worth the money?

Equipmentraw.com has one now for 400 shipped. Feel like jumping on it but worried about quality.....any thoughts after seeing pictures?

Googling them and checking out the comments on the board people posted about them looks like all their equipment is pretty cheap.

Spend money now and spend money later or spend a little more now for something that will last you a lifetime.

Agreed, I often need this reminder as it is easy to get tempted by price.

Re: GHR worth the money?

I did get a hell of a deal ordering some chains and a rope from them last year .....I noticed on their Facebook page they are linked with chino crossfit in some way so I emailed them and asked them if have experience with their stuff....I got a surprising response from chino crossfit I am pasting below....

Hello: Equipment RAW is great equipment with higher quality than Rogue. They stand behind their products 100%, that if you are not satisfied with your purchase, they will bend over backwards to make things right. You cannot go wrong with Equipment Raw, plus with their warehouse located in Ontario, you save a ton on shipping costs.

If you're going to use this GHD for what it was actually created for, I'd steer clear. Personally, I can't stand doing Glute/Ham Raises on one with the giant rollers. I have a Rogue Abrams so I'm a bit spoiled. FWIW

Re: GHR worth the money?

haha well I feel a bit trollish on this post. guys got 2 posts, both raving about a company with meh reviews on the internet and even saying they are better then a very trust worthy company.

I think if we have learned anything from the all these years on the internet, we know what not to get

I couldn't find a BS flag emoji, so I'll use this:

Their knockoff of the Rogue dog sled is 20+ lbs lighter with an inferior design...not sure how it can be higher quality.

The one equipmentraw product I considered was the "commercial" curl bar for $40...but the bad review I read plus the crazy shipping costs made me write it off.

Re: GHR worth the money?

I don't know what the hell you're getting at Shawn about me having 2 posts and....trollish....I simply saw a low priced ghd and wanted to know what people thought of it....I don't have experience with them....I got a great deal on chains from them before so I mentioned it....no raving....other response is from a box owner I stumbled upon and emailed them after post...the rogue ghd I knew was best to get but I guess was looking to get talked into saving the money....got 900 views but not a lot of responses so messaged Bill at Rogue and I trusted his response.....ended up ordering the 2.0..... I could not find many reviews it all on that company so I wanted to post what I found out.
