I never quite understood why people tried to sell their tractor tires when anybody can go pick one up at a tire yard or tractor supply store for free. The owners love it when others haul away their junk and don't have to pay someone to get rid of it... But hey if you can sell them, more power to you.

Re: Tractor Tires & 10 lb sledge .....Anyone in Houston need these

For everyone that is looking for a big tire this is some guidance on how to get one.

Get online or grab the dusty yellow pages out of the closet. Just start calling some tire places that carry the large tractor tires. This is what I did and you will find that they have no issues with someone picking up a old tire that they just got done changing. When you get their they may snicker when you haul it off but it is a free piece of equipment that will last for ever. The only thing I had to do was clean all the mud out of mine and it has done fine since

Regarding buying tires, in some areas merchants are not allowed to hold on to, or give away tires.. They must be disposed of 'correctly' and they don't make it into gyms.
