Good protection

Hey all, wasn't sure whether to put this in this section or the equipment part of the forums. What's a good groin guard for Muay Thai and MMA? Looking for something strong but comfortable. It'd be easy enough to just go for a steel Twins groin guard, but I want something that'd also be comfortable for ground work. Anyone got any good suggestions here? Thanks.

Re: Good protection

I prefer Trojan Supras.

Joking aside, I have used the simple ol' stuff from Wal Mart- the gel-rimmed (whatever it's called) cups were comfy enough for me.

google Shock Doctor and look through those. Its been a while since I've needed one but these are what my old instructor recommended.

Re: Good protection

Got myself a Shock Doctor cup. It's flexible, but still absorbs impact really well. I'm quite pleased with the quality and comfort of it, and it does the job really well.
