Two workouts, one day

What do people here think about splitting up CFSB/CFFB in to two workouts? The strength in the morning, and the metcon in the evening? What are some advantages and disadvantages of this schedule?

This is essentially what CF Endurance does. They want you to do the WOD in the morning, and the endurance portion at least 5 hrs later so that your body somewhat recovers.

If you can work it in your schedule like that, it sounds like a good idea.

Re: Two workouts, one day

It would be fine. If anything, you'll have more intensity for both sessions.

That being said, it'll require better recovery. Eat well, sleep a lot, and take extra rest if you need it. Don't use this as a means to add more volume on top of CFF or CFSB. Both programs already have a very high volume of work, a level most of us need to ease into to not over-train.

(I also occasionally do strength work in the am, and a metcon in the evening on some days. I love it)

I don't think there are any disadvantages, except making the time for this schedule.
