Speed Deadlift Form Check

Just a quick set with 225. I was well on my way to 4 plates over the summer when a aggravated back injury from shoveling snow years before flared up and I managed to sprain both ligaments in my left thumb on a high ropes course. I'm back doing almost everything except for curling now (LOL) so I'm pegging this at a tentative 345 1RM which would make this 65%.

Funny little thing is that I never hyperextend my back at the top which I did a bit here, was happening a lot that session because of the speed I was pulling my hips through with.

You must be IronAbrams.

Form looks p. good. Lower back position breaks just slightly from your set position. Head looks a bit too high. Bar speed looks a little bit slow off the floor for that weight.

Re: Speed Deadlift Form Check

Oh nos you've found me out!

I'll keep the cues in mind, thanks. Off the floor is definitely my weakest point in the lift.
