Re: Chris's SS form check log!!!!!

Robert thanks for the SS reference because I was immediately able to see what you were talking about.

Now for the vids...

Squat at 115

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4HCiFCNINg

Press at 60...I have no pressing strength whatsoever

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rxJj7TEvrqY

Power Clean at 75 (5 sets of 3)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPIAs9Me3Qo

Some things I noticed...I and not sending my butt back far enough in the first set of squats and its turning into a more olympic style squat which I am not flexible enough for yet so I'm losing lumbar curve. Pretty sure I fixed it on the second set though I still see a little butt wink.

On the press the bar curves around my head instead of going in a straight line...gotta work on that

I have no idea about the clean so any criticisms are greatly appreciated

Re: Chris's SS form check log!!!!!

I think some more work with the TUBOW is needed. The first set looked ok, though you were going very low, in fact lower than you needed too. The second set looked great, your best yet. Then in the third set you went back to pushing the butt out first and moving your knees out slowly. Remember knees go out, then butt goes down.

And on a side note you need to stop adjusting the weight for 20 seconds before every set and in between reps. Get it in a comfortable spot and keep it there. As that weight gets heavier you do not want to be jumping it around on your back.

Keep on adding weight,

-Robert
