First lesson: sitting.

Second lesson: wobbling.

Third lesson: sitting again.

Fourth lesson: break.

I actually think these things aren't so bad. Kind of silly to think about sitting on one while at the computer or watching tv, but I have to admit it does sound like a decent stability exercise.

I don't get it. There is no such cert and if you're talking about the debatable usefulness of Buddy Lee and Running certs, then know it's been talked about already, and sarcasm is not very conducive to intelligent debates.

Of course, I may have misunderstood your post entirely, in which case, never mind.

No, I'm pretty sure he just figured that a bunch of people sitting on swiss balls and flexing was pretty funny (which it is) and derived a caption to match.

This IS the "stuff and nonsense" forum, after all.

Try doing pushups with your hands on the stability ball.

Re: CrossFit Swiss Ball Cert. Register now!!!!

Hey, nothing wrong with wacky stability work (that's why we like rings, after all, and why there's such interest in the slosh pipe as a fun toy). But a bunch of people sitting on stability balls and flexing their "massive guns" is sorta like trying to look manly doing kettlebell swings with a 5lb pink dumbbell. There's just a sort of disconnect there.

Derek,
Yes you did. If you don't think that pic is funny...I believe you were thinking way too much into this.

Jason,
Huh?

I didn't realize I would touch on such a sensitive subject with this goofy picture.

Oh yeah? Try doing pushups with your feet dangling over your head and only your hands on the ground.

Wimp...

Real men do handstand pushups from atop a stability ball.
