another crossfit shoe question

I was wondering what are you thoughts on using this wrestling shoe for crossfit. So combination of oly, metcon and running.

Would you prefer to use an ordinary running shoe?

Re: another crossfit shoe question

That looks like a fairly basic shoe - no cushioning for max contact with the ground (like most martial art shoes). Ask yourself whether your running technique is up to running basically barefoot (also consider running surface) and whether your flexibility is up for olympic lifting without a raised heel.

I reckon 1 pair for running, 1 pair for lifting and 1 pair for met con stuff (combo lifting running)

I have similar shoes for lifting (rabens), newton running shoes for running and standard LSD runners for a mix.

BUT that shoe looks sweet if your running on grass + have good form and are flexible enough to get deep without a heel rise.

hope this helps

Re: another crossfit shoe question

Currently I use Brook GTS as my running shoes. I use them specifically because I run crosscountry and when I went to get new trainers the person there helped me figure out which I needed to get rid of my shin splints and these babies worked like a charm, so it is kinda up to the person using them, I use brooks
