Pendlay Bearing Bar Leaking Grease

Our gym just bought a new bar a month or so ago and we love it. Only a couple of us use the bar and it has not been used very much yet. The end caps have been covered/leaking grease the last couple of times when we come in the morning to use it, is this normal with a bearing bar?
Thank you!
