Anyone in Miami thinking of starting up? I'm in VA and recently got in to CF. Would love to find people down in South Florida (Miami hopefully) to train with. If not a box, does anyone know any good gyms that have the right equipment? The only thing making me hesitate to move is not finding anyone to CF with. Please let me know when you can.

I'm (probably) moving to Fort Lauderdale mid-summer but I'm totally freaked out about not having a great and accessible affiliate. I'm so spoiled at Crossfit Challenge Old Town. What's the situation, peeps? Boca & Miami will be too far...any Ft. Lauderdale proper affiliates? Anything in the works? Also, what level certification are y'all?

PS - what part of Texas are you and your bike from Stephan? I'm an Austin gal.

We should have our small box open in a month or so in Plantation which is about 10 or 15 minutes west of Ft. Lauderdale. I am level 1 and will be going to the next level 2. In addition, I have been to the Oly cert with Coach B. and the one provided by Performance Menu with Greg Everett, Coach B's student. Some KB experience but no cert.

The box is 1000sf for now due to the month to month deal we made with the land lord. With the responses we've had, it seems we will be out of it within 6 months. If you have any questions, feel free to email from the website www.crossfitbroward.com wfs

I don't know what happened, I think some of the guys hurt their ankles or something, and Travis was busy for awhile (he was the glue!). I think just people's schedules. I'm ready to go though.
