Re: Nike Metcon

Holy crap. I think I may have just snagged the last pair or 10.5 metcon's in daring red that Nike has in Canada. Props to some dude at Nike Eaton Center in Toronto for making a while bunch of calls and tracking them down.

Re: Nike Metcon

I have a few pairs of the anthracite/black metcons in 10. I'll ship them to you for 120$. PM me if you want a pair. Can also meet up if you're local to San Antonio

Re: Nike Metcon

Super late to the game on this one, but I absolutely love mine. Highly recommend them. Great for running, flat enough to deadlift and great for all day wear. Nike nailed it.

Re: Nike Metcon

I originally said I wouldn't buy them, but I succumbed to my urges and did. Have had them for about 1 month. Also own Nano 1.0 and 2.0s.

Honestly, they're good shoes...I can't decide if they are better, worse or the same as Nanos. I do know that my Nano 2.0s are more comfortable...and it becomes even more apparent if I've had either on for a while. If I had to decide on which shoe to do a 45 min to 90 min workout in, I'd probably take the Metcons, but it's close. But at $120 vs. getting my Nano 2.0s for $50, the Nanos were a way better value.

Re: Nike Metcon

Has anyone EVER seen the metcons available in a size 5? Anywhere? Ever? Just wondering why us girls are being shut out of this whole thing?

Pretty sure they're coming out with women's sizing/colors soon. I know Lauren Fisher has a signature version coming out soon.

i love mine after giving them a few workouts to break in but i did notice that while running, i feel it a lot more in my calves (at least way more than i do when i run in my Nano's)

Re: Nike Metcon

Really? The couple people I know that have them said they're more cushioned and much better for running than the nanos are.

Re: Nike Metcon

That would include me. I have been back running again for the past 6 weeks and my hips, knees and ankles are much happier in these. I also squatted a pretty decent set of 5 in them today with no issue.

The only thing I find is that they are sticky. Going to do some leg assisted rope climbs in them tomorrow.
