Ouch. No thanks.

I think the styling is fine though.

this. i am sure that plenty of people will jump on it but that is way way too rich for my blood for a shoe like that.

So if you want the newest (and let's be honest, if you're into CF, you probably do) you're stuck between sold out Metcon's or $200 Reebok's... (until Nano 5's are out)

Looks like they took a hint and changed the name.

Still, no way in hell I'd pay $200 for a shoe I plan to workout in and ruin. These aren't Jordan's in the early 90's I'm buying to walk around in and be stylish.

If the kevlar can protect my toes from dropped plates, this might be worth $200!

Seems really high to me, but I think they're marketing this as the ultimate performance shoe. Considering a lot of the CrossFit community think they're going to regional's this could sell okay. Interesting strategy.

They are going to loose their butts to Nike because of being priced out of the market. Trust me when I say Nike will ramp up production of the Met Con, with more colors coming every month.

Cool shoe, but not even the latest retro Jordan's are $200. Reebok/Adidas, time to come down from your cloud. Big Brother from the other side of the river just woke up, and they will cut you.

You can kevlar the heck out of the thing. The part of the shoe that breaks down is the rubber sole. I'm always amazed at how worn out my old shoes are whenever I put on new shoes. 5-6 months of training and general use and it's worth changing them out. I'll get 3.0s at the outlet stores for $40-$50 all day. No way I'm spending that kinda money on a general purpose shoe. Bad move IMO. It's like they want to test the depth of the Crossfitter's pocket. Well, they're gonna find out quick that they overshot by $80 or so.
