Personally, I'm not good at OHS at all due to shoulder flexibility, so I'd be stoked to reach the 3rd round.

I guess what I'm saying is I wish more 'regular' guys would post their strategies.
I just finished mine, scored 76. Round of 12, got through the second round of OHS and that's it. OHS were no problem but C2B were singles after first round and there were still half a dozen no reps.

Regular guy here, going to do my 1st attempt today. I'm not that good at C2B, so I will need to get through OHS unbroken

Re: 14.2 strageties/ scores

sadly two workouts and two relatively light barbells. Yes they get heavy after 150 reps in a short time but the light guys will rule on this one. Wonder if and when they go ladder on the workouts. Only Thrusters, C/SC or C and J is left. Deadlift would be too hard to judge. Some bouncy plates around the world. All that work on medium reps and heavy on Snatch and OHS.. guess you can't plan on repeat workouts every year

Deadlifts are have been programmed in two of the three Opens so far. 11.2 had them at 155/100# and 13.2 had them at 115/75. But the real reason I don't think that we will see deadlifts go very heavy is more a question of logistics. Think of the sheer number of plates required to go with a heavy deadlift. Some smaller boxes, and people with a garage gym, will not be able to do it. Again, this depends upon the definition of "heavy". 225/175 I think would be possible, but anything more than that and I just don't see it happening during the Open (no matter how much I would love it).

Nicely done

I went through about an hour of mobility tonight. Planning on about 30 minutes before I attempt 14.2. We'll see if it's worth a damn in the morning lol.

Re: 14.2 strageties/ scores

Just managed my 1st weighted overhead squat lastnight after dealing with shoulder issues. Hoping to make it into the C2B pullups. I will at least post a score....
