Rogue Do-Win Problem

I've had these for 5 months and in the last few weeks started split jerking and snatching. The rear shoe has started to split away at the toe after a few sessions.

Looking for recommendations on how to fix the sole peeling away more. I've tried standard super glue but it came away again in the first session. I've resolved to splitting with my opposite foot forward for now to stop it getting any worse but would like to know if there is a common product people use to fix this type of issue.

cheers

Stu

Re: Rogue Do-Win Problem

I had a similar problem that was generally fixed by some Gorilla glue and a 36kg kettlebell pressing it overnight. Worked pretty well, but I went one step further and got a pair of Romaleos. Problem solved.

Re: Rogue Do-Win Problem

Yours lasted 5 months? I have the model before that with the tan rubber sole and it pretty much came from rogue with the sole coming off, I tried glueing it multiple times but would keep coming off.

I have since switched to Reeboks, so far so good.

Same thing for me. I even posted a very professional review on their site about it. Funny that it never showed up though when I looked days/weeks later. I won't buy these again and am already (5 months later) looking at Reeboks now. These do-win's won't the last year for me.

I of course only use these for lifting as well, no metcon, du's, etc....very displeased with the quality.

Wow...I got a blue pair of Do-Wins from Glen Pendlay like 6 or 7 years ago, and lift in them a couple of times a week, and they are still awesome!!

Both my pair and my gym owners' pair are doing the same thing. I am REALLY hoping Reebok will release the Oly shoes in new colors for the games.

Thanks, I'll try the gorilla glue. If it continues I might have to invest in s different pair.

I had a pair of those too!! Other then the fact that the suede was too loose for me and my foot moved all over the place, I would still be lifting in them.

I think that, although they are both supposedly made my do-win, they are not the same shoes. To the OP, take them to a shoe repair shop and they will use a better glue. You can have them take off the entire sole or just re-glue the area that's peeling.

Re: Rogue Do-Win Problem

This has happened to to everyone at my box who has these shoes. Not representative of Rogue's typical quality. I bought the rips and they were falling apart after a year too.

Do people still do that? My town's cobbler had to close shop shortly before the apothecary and blacksmith.
