A Crossfit Journey
Alright so I hope this is the right place for this, so fingers crossed and here we go!
I have been interested in Crossfit for sometime now but long story short never found the motivation in me to do anything about it.
Last month after stepping on the scale and weighing in at 242lbs I decided to get back into shape! I headed to a local gym and have been working out there for the past month and a bit.
After one month of training (weight training and cardio) I stepped on the scale and am down to 228lbs! Woohoo!
Now begins the journey. I have spoken to a local Crossfit box owner and we have set up a meeting this Saturday to go over some details and I suppose dot all the i's and cross all the t's.
In this thread you will find updates on my training, my goals, general thoughts and more all as I progress towards my goals of being overall healthier and more fit, as well as my ultimate goal of eventually competing in the Crossfit Games! (I know, I know... laugh if you must... LOL!)
