Re: Navy Seal Fitness Challenge

Did it last year in Chicago at my school. It was fun. Surprisingly I somehow beat my friend in the swim portion even though he is planning on going to the seals and swam way more than before the event. Im wearing the dog chain they give to you at the end of the event right now.

Re: Navy Seal Fitness Challenge

Dog chain?
I have to say this has piqued my interest. However, when I "calculated" my training schedule, I wasn't too excited about the running and swimming lengths (or the 6days per week schedule).

Just do CF and a little extra swimming. Most WODs are harder than this.

Re: Navy Seal Fitness Challenge

Ya CF and some extra laps will do it. Honestly I prob didnt swim more than 4-5 times before the challenge (but when I did I practiced the military stroke the whole time its the most effecient stroke) and posted a great time. Once you get the military stroke, which they have videos of on the site, you will be set.

I believe the "military stroke" you are talking about is called combat side stroke. There's a pretty good demo of it on youtube if you look it up.
