Multiple Sclerosis and nutrition

Does anyone here have direct knowledge or experience with the effect nutrition plays with MS? I've read various articles on the benefits of paleo or similar grain free "diets" but I'm looking for testimony, good bad or indifferent, from anyone with experience. I realize proper nutrition is a major factor with anything and I know it certainly can't hurt but..........just looking for a bit more than that.

There is a great 7 part series br Dr Cordain on the Paleo Diet and MS. Here is part 1 (and the other links can be found on the side):

Here is another site with good info/links:

Re: Multiple Sclerosis and nutrition

Let me know what you find. I have friends and family with MS. I think the nutrition would help but I don't want to sound like a quack. The more personal experiences I can share the better.

Thanks,
Mark

Thanks,

If I had a friend with MS I would send him those links. Most of the material is backed by research, and not the research we are used to from agricultural and pharma. companies....so its much less likely biased for profit.
Show him this. Don't wait, if he's not ignorant, he will find it helpful. If I were in your friends shoes, I'd much prefer stuff like this than a few personal experiences.
