Can anyone describe these to me? Is it a burpee with a pushup in the down position?

we do 6 count which is what you know...an 8 count would be once in the push up--up position one would move their legs out to the side on 1 count and back in on the next count...i would assume one would do another push up for the 10 count. so 1 is down, 2 is back in push up pos, 3 is down in pu, 4 is up in pu, 5 is legs split out, 6 is legs coming in, 7 is down in pu, 8 is up in pu, 9 is feet and hands on the deck and 10 is jumping up yelling arrrruggggghhhhhaaaaa!!!!! and then landing in the 1 position getting ready for 2!

From my understanding bodybuilders & burpees are the same. The bodybuilder/burpee is a 6 count exercise and you can add different elements to increase the count.
Example: (starting from standing position) 1) Hands to ground by feet 2) Feet pushed out behind you (now in push up postition). 3) Spread legs apart 4) Bring legs together 5) Negative portion of push up 6) Complete push up 7) Negative portion of push up 8) Complete push up 9) Bring feet back up near hands 10) Stand up There that should make it clear as mud. |

When I was in Navy Boot Camp this was the 10 count bodybuilder we did every morning
