I did, but no luck. Then saw the other note about the article elsewhere on the boards. Good article. In my opinion, the problem is not "crossfit." The problem is focus on form over function. I like the idea that you will look good if you develop a body that actually works, but I think there is room for more types of function than simply "lift big." For Gillian, it looks like she found what she's looking for. It sounds like she has a great philosophy for her clients, but the fact is that more women want the 120 lb. look than the 140 lb. look. I think there is room to get it using proper (non-miniscule) diets and good lifts. It isn't an either-or proposition.
I'm glad to be at a gym that trains with a strength bias and recommends nutrition that feeds muscle growth. I hope my new gym will do as well when I move up the road.
