Running School
Drills, drills and more drills

Tabata 400s (I think we did 4 of these?)
Round 1 - A little over 3min, I think. Liz said I wasn't running fast enough, so I attempted to pick up the pace on the next 3 rounds... fun!
Rounds 2 - 4: These ranged from about 2:42 to 2:48, so I certainly succeeded in picking up the pace a little.

Form feels better, little by little. As usual, it's the breathing that kills me.

Getting back into it finally!!

Friday April 8, 2011

Activation: 100m row sprint, 2 attempts - both times were 21s

Strength: 155x2 Sumo deadlifts - previous was 190x2, however I haven't been in a loooooooong time so I'm happy with 155

Conditioning: 75 burpees for time - 6:54
Pretty surprised with my time since I have a strong dislike of burpees, however this wasn't as awful as I thought it was going to be

Excited to start the 2nd go round of the CFCC BCCC on Monday! Also excited to finally find out next week if we're moving to LA or Columbus! And even more excited for my wedding in 56 days!!!!

Clean - 85x3

5 rounds of 10 wall balls and 20 double unders
10 min cap - 3 rounds + 10 wall balls
Need to practice double unders!

4/13/11
Running school
Death by some amount of meters which I forget - got to the 14th round I think

4/15/11
Snatch grip deadlift - 125x5 (pretty sure it was 125, of course I didn't write it down b/c I thought I would remember)

Weighted glute bridges

Death by kettlebell swings starting at 10 reps with 1.5pood - completed 15 swings - form on the last few was awful, this got really heavy really fast

4/25/11
Fran - 5:17
21-15-9 reps of:
Thrusters (30lb bar)
Pull-ups (avg band)

4/26/11
Isabel - 5:19
30 snatches for time with 45lbs
1st time snatching, by the end of the 30 reps I felt a lot more comfortable with the movement

Definitely psyched myself out about the weight during the workout which lead to slooow elbows... cleans intimidate me for some reason, even though 80 didn't feel too too heavy, I'm always afraid I'm going to topple over, haha. But, I'm glad that I did it!!!

10 back squats
20 single leg squats
Used 50lbs and sls-ed to a stool
15:24

5/4/11
Amrap 20 min
5 forward rolls
5 inverted burpees
10 hollow rocks
10 pullups with light+miniband

7 rounds + 1 hollow rock

lovin the inverted burpees, hollow rocks need a looooot of work
