Finally...No more Globo

I have furnished my garage with all the basic essentials to quit the Globo. I have a squat cage coming from bigfitness.com, equipped with a pull up bar and dip bars. I bought an olympic weight set plus bars, clips, weight stand for 150. Have a jumproper, homemade medicine ball, rings are coming along with a kettlebell. Next on my list is the rower. Waited for the most expensive thing.

Some things I will miss at my Globo besides that fact that the rower was never being used:

-The guys that work their biceps everyday...relentlessly
-The people who look and flex into the mirror after doing one set
-the talking on the phones/reading while on treadmills, elipticals, steppers
-the hairy guy who blow drys his chest hair and brushes it (his second sweater)
-(My Globo is three floors) the people who take the elevator
-the people looking at me like i am crazy in a pool of sweat on the floor after a WOD
-and last but not least--the public fridge loaded with chinese food, mcedee's, burger king, all kinds of fast food people eat directly after their workout!

My gym has a few of those as well.

I am currently saving up to buy a house soon. A workout friendly garage is at the top of my criteria (followed closely by an awesome kitchen).

Hey hey hey...I take that chest hair thing personally! Seriously, just do crossfit and it seems to vanish with weight loss!

What about the guys who hang around, at say, the squate rack or bench and just talk? They're my favorite. I have a question though: How did you make your homemade medicine ball? I could sure sure one.

cheap rubber basketball, slit a hole in it, fill with a 20lbs bag of sand with funnel, tire plug kit to plug hole, duct tape entire ball. Boom, instant 10 dollar medicine ball.
