Are these balls roughly the same quality? Just asking because of the huge price difference.

Thanks..

I cannot speak for longevity but I had IronWoody send me a 6lb ball to sample. In my opinion the difference between that and a dynamax is small in fact I'm turning in an order to ironwoody this afternoon.

Josh - question about this... are they the same diameter as the dynamax balls?

How hard or soft are they compared to a Dynamax? I know I find wallball shots a lot easier with a nice cushy Dynamax.

Iron Woody med balls are slightly bigger (the 6lber is about 14") and I think the iron woody balls vary slightly in size while dynamax is uniform.
Softness is about the same. I was working with a tiny women's tennis athlete today throwing the thing as hard as i could at her from less than 5 yards and she was catching it just fine.

Thanks Josh,
Good stuff it looks like I know where I'm buying med balls in the future. Unless I get a good deal on leather or vinyl in which case I'll just make them myself.

And uhhhhh maybe you're just getting weak "ahem"! (hahaha? "And I'm glad I live on the other side of the continent! It gives me a head start!")

I would stay with the Dynamax. Ive had mine for a while, use it everyday and it still works great. Just my two cents...

Which one would hold up better being thrown against rough surfaces?

I don't have a "real" wallball target so often improvise against sides of brick buildings.

I ordered my dyanamax 20lb direct to within 2or 3 bucks of the iron woody ball, the 40% cheaper advertised onn the iron woody is decieving at least on the 20lb ball
