An abomination of the fitness industry

I made a little video of my trip to the canfitpro 2011 expo yesterday with a friend.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCyVdDOyXoQ (WFS)

Is this really what the fitness industry has turned into? Shame...

It was during WOD (I train at school), and we were taking out the steps for some of those guys to use for box jumps (put em aganist a wall and stack them), and I was like:

"Hey, I've seen it done before and never tried it, I have to give it a shot."

And I had my camera on me, so my buddy filmed it.

On a side note, Buddy Lee was at the canfitpro expo yesterday, it was cool to see him do a couple demos on the rope. Got a pic with him as well.

I could be completely wrong about this particular product, but it looks like another product used in Sports medicine to rehab shoulder injuries, not necessarily intended to be shake weight-esque.

Those vibrating platforms are freaking money to stretch on.

hand weight XCO thing cracked me up, no clue how you weren't cracking up laughing.

Re: An abomination of the fitness industry

The swis-ball flat bench mutant offspring made me sad. I can just imagine going into a gym looking to do a strength workout and fine only a bubbly swis ball bench and a smith machine.

Sweet, wish I could've seen that. And I wish they would bring back the Jump Rope cert.
