Rogue Elites vs. Pendlay Elites

Hi all

To those of you who know, what are the differences between different makes of elite bumper plates? I'm thinking of upgrading to black elites w/color ink in lbs (can't get over feeling silly having colored in lbs). Two pairs of 45's, one pair of 25's.

Rogue is $697 shipped.
Pendlay via CSN is $570.49 shipped.

Just not sure if there are quantifiable differences. I like having Rogue. I like the way they do their thing. But I also have to justify it to my wife somehow, and I'm not sure if, "I like Rogue's screen" is enough.

Honestly if the price difference wasn't so huge, I'd say go with Rogue because they're a much better company with good customer service.

The plates are exactly the same otherwise though, the only difference really is the price and the lettering on the plates.

Pretty sure they are all made by the same manufacturer and just re-branded for Rogue/ Pendlay/ AF etc. But I could be wrong.

Same plates... Go with the cheaper option. I love Rogue, but Isaved like $600 by going with the Pendlays via CSNwith the 10% code. In the end there is just no way to justify the extra money

Re: Rogue Elites vs. Pendlay Elites

They get shipped as blanks from a factory in China and are printed on sight in Fort Mill SC. Some are printed Pendlay and some are printed Rogue. When I went to the factory to pick mine up, they had just finished printing my last set of 10kgs. I had to wait 24 hours to use them, so the ink could cure. Definetly get the full color kilo plates. Once you have them you will never regret spending the extra money.

Re: Rogue Elites vs. Pendlay Elites

It would be pretty cool to pick them up on site.

We lift with competition bumpers exclusively in my affiliate. It's just tough because I like to think of my weight in lbs (bigger numbers! ). And then adding change whenever a WOD's 95 lbs...

10, 20, 25 kg. in color is $653 with the promo code, shipped.

10, 15, 20, 25 kg. in color is $849.64 with the promo code, shipped.

25, 45, 45 lb. in black is $502.17 with the promo code, shipped.

Re: Rogue Elites vs. Pendlay Elites

I'm going to purchase in pounds, but can't decide whether to get a set with 25lbs, 35lbs, 45lbs, and 55lbs or to get a set with (2) 25lbs and (2) 45lbs. Any thoughts or suggestions?
