150 Burpees in 6:57

Slept 8+ hours last night and feel much better today. Bar speed was phenomenal, but kept it light as to not push recovery too soon. Burpees were a ***** to pace - all over the place. Overall happy with my time and my overall work today. Will put much more emphasis on sleep ... and with Jodi's recent schedule change, that should help tremendously.

Snatch / Clean practice

Grappling

Overall felt pretty good, but body is fatigued from yesterday. Snatch was not very crisp (shoulders tired from burpees), but surprisingly cleans felt awesome. Squats were a grinder, which is usually the case 16 hours after deadlifts. Grappling felt top notch. Mentally I've felt better the last two days than I have in awhile and all I did was add an extra hour of sleep each night. Let's hope the trend continues and transfers into some big numbers.

Rough day. Energy and focus were great, but some fascia issues crept in and affected comfort on the squats and bench press. Wouldn't allow me to get tight ... made for some interesting squats! Got the work done, but definitely need a solution before things get heavy. Kept the volume low on bench press as traps are very gunked up. I scolded Lana for the same thing, so now it's time for me to listen to my own advice. Opted out of double unders and swam hard for 10 minutes.

Squats felt good today. Thanks Jane!! Double unders were all over the place. I can't remember all the numbers but lowest was 22, highest was 33. And did them barefoot. I'm liking the barefoot skipping.

A little tight from yesterday's squats, so wasn't sure what to expect today. Cleans were surprisingly good. Squats were better than expected, but decided not to push my luck with the 445 without spotters today. Went to Nadine straight after the squats and spent almost two hours having my fascia smashed. Back to the gym and then did one round of the workout (30 mountain climbers, 10 kettlebell swings, 5 burpees) in 42 seconds. Time to ice and eat.
