PM3 vs PM4 Monitor for Concept 2

Searched some threads but didn't find anything that 'really' helped me decide on if the PM4 monitor is really worth the extra few $$.

Rower will be for home garage gym I'm building. Wife prefers this to be one of first purchases as she can use it (she doesn't like weights... trying to change her view on that... )

I really can't see any of the other features that worthwhile besides perhaps the heart rate feature with my polar heart monitor I already have...

What ya all think? Just get the pm3 and use my watch to track my heart, upgrade at a $150 for having my HM read by the rower (+ recharge while rowing & a few extra games?)

Thanks again!

If it's a matter of resource allocation, there are plenty of other uses for $150. My rower has a PM2 and it's good enough. If I were going to get more than one and wanted to link them up then a pm4 might be more worthwhile.

I have the pm3, but don't use a heart monitor. However, according to c2 site (wfs)
http://www.concept2.com/us/indoorrow...m4_compare.asp

both pm3 and pm4 require an optional Polar receiver. The pm4 comes with a Garmin belt.
