Question Question about homemade oly weight tree

So in my quest to achieve an adequate garage gym, I've made the popular 2x4 w/ cement squat rack, and it works really well. It holds a lot of weight for a $35 rack

However, I need a place to store my weight plates besides the floor. I'm looking to get a weight tree, but they're a little pricey (cheapest I've found is ~$50). Has anyone made their own? Or at least seen a webpage with some instructions?

no worries man, just build an extra rack and ship it to me when you're finished and we'll call it even
