I went out and got another half-gallon of 1% after reading this. I rank it right up there with lots of stuff I read from PETA. Only PETA I agree with is People Eating Tasty Animals.

I avoid dairy because it's healthier to get calcium from other sources, because the thought of dairy kind of grosses me out, and because a lot of dairy comes from cows that put are in horrible conditions (though I realize this isn't always true).

I get my calcium primarily from sardines, almonds, and vegetables.
