Re: how about this diet plan??

I believe that olive oil is preferable for cooking than canola, and much better than flax (which cannot withstand heat without turning bad on ya). Converting the omega 3 into useful DHA/EPA from the latter two is an inefficient body process, so balancing with fish oil (straight DHA/EPA) is better.

Coconut oil is awesome, but you definitely taste it on the dish - and ain't nothing wrong with that.

Bacon grease on the counter top works fine for me too, but I make sure to get full turnover every week or it gets chucked (heretical I know, Jamie).

...now back to our regularly scheduled program...

Dude! That's a lot of food, but I guess if you're hitting it hard and not growing fat then keep on keepin' on. Maybe I'm crushing a bunch more veggies, but I'm about your same size and eat about half as much. I've got ten years on ya, so you're probably working off the calories much more efficiently too.

Re: how about this diet plan??

I don't taste coconut oil when I use it to scramble eggs.

I do taste it when I stir fry veggies like summer squash and zucchini in it though. So I guess it depends on what you're cooking.
