A quick search of this site will tell you that everyone here thinks that the Concept 2 is THE rower to own.

If I had the cash i'd buy one in an instant!

Go to http://www.concept2.com/05/default.asp?bhcp=1 and check out the site. The C2 erg is THE machine to have, no doubt, no question, no hesitation. I have one and as a triathlete who trains specifically for endurance I can report that the C2 can turn me into a quivering bag of useless flesh faster than just about anything else. The more I use it the more impressed I am with the fitness of rowers. Simple. Not easy but simple. Sit down. Strap in. Pull hard. Throw up. Hmmm. Great T-shirt slogan.

Get one. I promise you will not regret the purchase. You may develop a hatred for how it makes you feel, but you will be amazed at the challenge it gives you and the fitness gains it creates.

I managed to get one for £100 and it is by far the best piece of kit I have

Put 3 people through workouts today using it and all have the love/hate relationship with it!

I have a model B I picked up on craigslist for cheap and added a new ergo bar and foot holders. Works great, only problem is my wife is always using it.

I've got one and I love it. An extra bonus is the online community, the WODs, and the training log over at Concept2.com.
