Re: Rogue Reverse Hyper

I've used the Rogue Reverse Hyper and I have to say it is VERY well built. From looking at the pictures on the site I thought it looked a little small and flimsy but in person it is quite substantial and really, a quality piece of craftsmenship.

Re: Rogue Reverse Hyper

I am a bit embarrassed for being a gearhead that can't resist commenting on good equipment. (Virtually every post I have here is on equipment).

But I have to bite:

I have the Rogue GHD. My understanding is that Rogue partnered with Sorinex on this one.
I too thought it may be a bit small. After setting it up: NO WAY.
This thing isn't huge, but more than substantial.

I am 6'3" 235+ and this thing doesn't budge, not on fast full ROM situps or glute ham moves. As assistance work, this thing has been absolutely great. Initially I thought I went overboard on the purchase, but just using it twice a week I've seen enormous benefit to my squat and sport fitness goals.

It isn't cheap, but I have to say that after a good pair of squat stands/Cage, a bar and bumpers, I would first save up for this, before any other piece of equipment. You won't use it as often as the bar, but each use has exponential benefit for everything that places demands on the PC.

Some have suggested it is an advanced piece. Except for the ROM on the situps, which one should carefully work up to (be able to pop off 4 sets of 30 with facility before going full ROM on the GHD situp) I tend to disagree. Especially for those not yet doing Rxd weights, this thing is great. Just use a band of your choosing. Wrap the band around the foot post and place the band against high chest area. Get into glute ham position with palms out under the bands against the chest. Crank out the reps 3x5-6, after a lower body day (once a week). What you reap, will amaze.

BUY IT!!!!
