Just finished making a 24lbs Medicine ball from a found basketball and two farmer carry thingys from Gasoline jerry's 45lbs each. Now just have to get my bench set up and get the rings in there and then off to the races.

Heh, my 22lb ball has just been packed today and my elite rings came in the mail yesterday. :D

Now I've just got to get strong enough to use them effectively!!

I have been searching for a cheap basketball but just realized play it again sports used to have them for about $4. Did 22lb completely fill the ball?

The ball is 24lbs and is completly full. There is no room for anything else in there. Have it all taped up and it is just waiting to get tossed around.

Hey great idea Steve. Thanks for posting. I have a few old basketballs lying around in my garage that my kids use to use with their old portable basketball station. I also have an old 15ft x 6ft sandpit out back that they used to play in with their swing set. And duct tape…what guy does not have duct tape, I have lots. Basically, I already have everything I need and did not even know it, sweeeeeet. :biggrinthumb:
Thanks for the insight. As the saying goes, “you are only limited by your imagination”.
Thanks again!:highfive:

These are 29 lbs apiece, filled with zirconium ceramic beads and glass beads (a little side benefit of being at a paint factory). I have a set at home with sand and water weighing 26 or so, I think.

my two cents- the retail store Five Below has basketballs there that are guess?? $5 and below. Relatively inexpensive for a basketball.
