I was excited to see that my local Henry's carried raw milk. Since I have never tried it but have heard many good things about it I wanted to try it out. However, at nearly 7 dollars for a quart I couldn't justify the expense. Is there a cheaper place to get raw milk? If there is less processing I dont see why it would be so much more expensive, other than that whole supply and demand economics model. I might pick it up anyways just to see what all the fuss is about.

Im starting to see the benefit of buying lots of acreage somewhere and raising my own food supply. Sheesh.

Why stop at a CrossFit Ranch?! We could have a CrossFit Commune!

Grow a massive garden/orchard, get enough property for a bunch of free roaming herds of different animals, and set up the greatest gym ever assembled :-p

Yeah, that sounds about right. It's why I drink it sparingly at night.

Cheapest way? Find a farmer with some cows. I recently found out one of my boy's team member lives on a farm but I don't think they have any dairy ( he brings eggs some of the coaches buy ).

You think $150 grocery trips are large, huh? Clearly you have little experience with truly large families.

I work near Norco, CA. You'd think it would be easy to find someone with a few dairy cows milling about. Trick is finding a decent one.

I've never heard of "raw milk" - interesting. I buy fat-free organic milk from central market at around 5/gal.
