Re: Idiots Guide to IF?

Intermittent Fasting

you have a short period of time to consume your food for the day
during the fasting portion you can have black coffee, water, and diet soda (although I personally would avoid the diet soda)

For Example:

Eat from 1-9PM
Fast:Eat ratio of 16:8 and I believe the minimum

a lot of people fast longer, but I'm not sure how much of an impact it has

there's A LOT more to it than that...if you're interested I would spend a good time looking into it

maybe even hop over to Lyle's board (link wfs) www.bodyrecomposition.com and search IF in the forums there (there's a HUGE thread on it)...again, if you're really interested you're gonna have to do some reading

Re: Idiots Guide to IF?

Thanks for the info. I checked the link, but still wonder how this may influence performance? Does the Paleo/Zone not combat negative food responce, and also enable the body to stay in a continued catabolic state?

If your blocks are in check, should'nt you be able to lean out to your hearts content?
