Try just looking through the buckle and see which amount of depression results in the widest opening. This should help. And also be sure that you keep the lever down as you feed it through. Lastly you might try singing the end of the webbing on a stovetop to make the end tighter.
The new rings will allow you to slide the buckle out of the way, so there will be no risk of hitting them. Tyler |
