"The Truth about Westside" seminar-April 24-25

This should be an interesting 2 day seminar, since Westside is often brought up on the boards.

Re: "The Truth about Westside" seminar-April 24-25

I had read a little about Westside and seen some things here and there but wasn't really sure how I felt about them. AJ Roberts (from Westside) was at Zach Even-Esh's seminar and the stuff was super strong. Really impressive. Zach's stuff is always great, but I was really impressed with AJs stuff from Westside. It is definitely NOT geared to GPP...pure strength. No over head lifts, lots of box squats but really solid. Grip stuff is awesome. I would be interested to see how the 2-day goes.

Dave, good comments. I'd have attended Zach's workshop, couldn't get away, but it's on my To Do List for 2009. I check out Zach's blog daily. One strong, good dude who I met at CF two years ago.

dudes

thanks 4 the good words

if AJ and I do this again, it will be MORE hands on, getting under the bar a lot, etc.

The seminar took a different turn than expected and I will make it way better next time fo sho

I will not be attending this seminar

I will be in Va the weekend before speaking at the annual state conference would is looking pretty cool

I'll be taking a trip to westside soon enough though

Louie is awesome

I think everyone can benefit from learning his info on strength and power

he'll have mma and bjj fighters there talking his work capacity training which I think many CFs will dig

Zach;

You put together a training seminar, please post on the CF boards.
I'll do what it takes to get up your way, about a 6-7 hour drive.

Excellent vid's on your site, your bro's are some strong dudes.

Jay

This is totally unrelated to the thread, but I had to say this about your avatar Jay.
At least you know they're grass-fed!!

Jay,

I'd be more than happy to drive and split gas to his seminar

Bart, not sure about that. I would assume that Veggies eat alot of grains, hence I'd assume their grain feed, but if prep'd right, should be down right tasteeee. Everything tastes better wrapped in bacon, coated with BBQ sauce.

Jamie, excellent offer. My only issue is that I have to miss work Friday, but let's keep it open. Chat with ya soon.
