Agression and Milk?

My dad's friend is fit for a guy his age, around 45ish. He looks in his late 20's, works out and has 3 Dojo's. My dad always joke around with him by saying "give him milk and he turns to superman." I never understood till i asked about it this morning. Apparently when he drinks milk he gets extremely aggressive, "stronger", and frustrated with things (especially people). So milk makes him extremely dangerous. Did any one else ever hear of a case like this? To me it sounds like something very fictional and ridiculous. But they say it's true. Is there any explanation for this?

Yeah I know. It's bizarre but I was thinking maybe it's a type of Lactose intolerance.

Could be psychosomatic. He's convinced this is the effect it has on him, so it happens.

I agree. I did a quick pubmed search and couldn't find anything that would substantiate his claim. I'm curious though, how long after drinking milk does this happen, and how long does it last? How about other dairy?

Re: Agression and Milk?

People who tell me I need to drink skim / low-fat milk make me angry.

Does that count?

Re: Agression and Milk?

When I was a kid, I knew this sailor. Pretty mellow guy most of the time - mumbled to himself a lot...

But when he ate canned spinach, he was a beast. This fat guy often hit on the sailor's skinny girlfriend. He just ate some spinach and kicked the big guy's butt. Big time.

If only I could remember that sailor's name...

Haha my dad actually made a reference about this how he was like Pop-eye. I don't know it sounds weird but he claims he can't drink milk cause he gets angry.
