Healthy programing to follow?

I am moving to a new town without a CrossFit gym, so I have to train in my new big garage. But which programming should I follow? I train CrossFit because I want to be/stay healthy, but I am not going to compete in CrossFit.

I have been looking at:
-Main site crossfit.com
-Invictus Performance
-OPEX Being

Other programming I should consider?

Main site looks very random, and not like someone have thought very much about it. Invictus Performance looks very good, and has one rest day at week. OPEX Being also looks very good, and has two rest days a week. I like to have time to do other things than training, so maybe OPEX Being would be the best option for me. Would OPEX Being be a good choice for me?

Re: Healthy programing to follow?

You do whatever is best for you. Allot of things will be trial and error from the start but if you plan well then you will see the rewards. Its easy to make things easy for yourself and not push yourself but if you can get over that and make things really hard at least once a week you should be ok.

I program myself together will my wife and it works out great, we have themes, we go heavy, light, fast, slow, short and endurance and do whatever just pops up in our heads but we can measure it all so we can see the improvement.

But... there is always a thought behind it, some type of connection between the exercises.

I use the CFHQ for inspiration and other channels for tips but we still do our own programming. So far it has worked perfect.

If you just want to be healthy and fit look at CrossFit New England's regular programing.

Re: Healthy programing to follow?

Does your previous CrossFit gym post their wods online? I am assuming you did go to a box based on your post. If so then continue following their programming. Or follow it best you can with equipment you have.

Re: Healthy programing to follow?

Yeah Anders, I started working out in my garage after going to a box for 2 years. The key, is just stay consistent. If you do something 3+ times a week, you're in all likelihood going to stay healthy. (As long as your form isn't crap) If you get lazy and start neglecting it, things go downhill quickly since there's no accountability.
