My first day as a x-fitter

I worked out for my first time at Pioneer Valley Crossfit and I can honestly say that I'm hooked. Sandy Ji put me through a Baby Cindy today. I could only do 5 rounds (I though I was in shape) and I was exhausted. I really have to concentrate on my weaknesses. I could only do 3 pull-ups so Sandy suggested that I use the bands to help me with the pull-ups. I had sweat rolling off my brow (something that rarely happened at Gold's). Now I know why you guys are hooked.

With Great Respect,

Greg (or Norman as I'm called at PVCF)

The fun has just begun.

Cindy is a great way to track your progress. You'll come back to this workout in a few months and be amazed at how much better/stronger/faster you are.

Welcome to the mix! My first workout was Cindy as well, I do over 2x as many rounds now. That first workout is such an eye opener!

Welcome Norman...

You will blow that cindy score out of the water next time!

Re: My first day as a x-fitter

completed my first day yesterday (uncontrollable shaking has now subsided) and loved it.
did a variation of fran? with slightly different pull ups - the effect of the compound exercises (thrusters) was felt on the first set and really affected my intervals on the treadmill!
looks like this will be my choice of training for the future and i'm looking forward to putting in the hard work.
all the best,
AJ (nz newbie).
