Re: PR Thread

PR'd CJ a few weeks back at 330 a little under 185 bodyweight.

For those who are internet competition warriors, this ones a pretty gnarly tester:

For time:
15 double kb snatch
20 overhead walking lunges with kbs
15 pullups
20 thrusters with kbs
15 pullups
20 oh walking lunges
15 double kb snatch

1.5 pood. Would be very interested to see times.

Re: PR Thread

Some good training lately at the deployed location.

Been trying for sub 7 min Jackie for a while, and almost got it @ 7:06 (PR) Someone moved my bar back to the rack during the row, and had to snag it again. Better luck next time. When I first did the workout in 2011 it took me 11 minutes, and is still my favorite WOD

335x6 Backsquat yesterday as well.

Re: PR Thread

Finally hit a 225 clean the other day, been stalled at 215 for about 2 months. Just couldn't get over the mental barrier of "100kg"

I did Jackie at regionals for my team. What is your 1000m pace?

I tend to stay in the 1:55ish range for that workout. I need to push it up plain and simple right off the getgo, and taper. Thrusters go in reps of 20/15/15 Pullups are the strong point, I usually do the 30 unbroken/butterfly.

Yeah the row needs to be at 1:45 or faster. And what really matters on the thrusters is cycle time.
