Re: Jump Ropes

I like Lifeline's ropes the best. They have a few models. Well-made and fly really well.

I have utter disdain for Nike's SPARQ brand.

That's all my info on jump ropes.

Re: Jump Ropes

I just bought a few of these. They have a bulk discount as well. Mine arrived yesterday. They are VERY fast and seem to be built about as well as anything. I copied this link from a thread that is only a few days old.

Re: Jump Ropes

Anyone try the Valeo Jump ropes. I was looking at the 2lb weighted one (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BKXE0C) or the adjustable speed rope (http://www.fitbuy.com/pd/vajrs.html). Opinions?

Re: Jump Ropes

I bought a set of these and love them. Cheap and effective. Very fast rope!

What are the length on those? I have members ranging in height from 4'11 to 6'5", and one of the problems I've had is finding jump ropes that are easily adjustable.

My current solution is to get a whole crapload of the $2.34 Target jumpropes (which actually work quite well, but they break frequently - usually in the middle of Annie!) and trim some of them down so I have a few in each of several lengths. Are these ones adjustable at all?

Re: Jump Ropes

They are adjustable & super fast. I don't know if they'll work for someone 6'5, right out of the box they seem to be perfect for someone 6'1 to 6'0. They're so simple to make/repair that it wouldn't surprise me if the manufacturer cut a couple to a custom length for you.
