Compression Pants for Weightlifting

What is a decent quality, reasonably affordable brand of compression pants for olympic lifting? I was thinking of just buying eastbay 3/4 compression pants but I worry that they may rip early after using them for a bit. I think they may be too thin for having coming into contact with a barbell that often. Any other options?

All the cool kids are wearing Virus now a days. I actually really like my pair. And their customer service has been great. They usually have a 20% code floating around.

Re: Compression Pants for Weightlifting

I wear 2XU which I like very much. They were wicked expensive but are rugged. I have a tiny hole in one knee. I'm not sure how it got there since I pretty much wear knee sleeves all the time. The thighs seem to be holding up well. My Pendlay bar is not super sharp though.

The reason I like the 2XU is they are fairly low rise (not a super high waist) I'm looking to get a pair of 3/4 length. I'll probly get virus if I do because of price.

Thanks for the replies guys. Anything a little cheaper out there? I'm sure both of those brands are worth every penny but it is a little pricey to be honest.

I wear these, they're tough and can take a beating. Comfortable too.

Spun Apparel is very well recommended here on the forum. I recently bought a few pieces from them, though, since I live abroad, they haven't arrived yet. Greg, the owner, is a crossfitter, and has a great customer service.

I recommend checking it out. Their stuff has been compared in quality to 2XU and comes for a very fair price.

Re: Compression Pants for Weightlifting

Check out the Skins Power Short. They are super high compression and very thick and durable and are my go to pair for training.

I love my spun performance shorts and pants, I lift in them all the time with nothing over them
