Need ideas for WODs with injured shoulders

Hi,

so both of my shoulders are a bit messed up at the moment and while i am working on rehabing them and letting them rest, i still would like to continue training. i know that a lot of the typical CF movements involve the shoulders but i am hoping that we can put together a decent selection of WODs that i can use for the next few weeks.

any help would be appreciated!

Squat central my friend. Depending on how messed up they are you may be able to do back squats, deadlifts, at least air squats, double unders, box step ups (jumps probably are too violent for your shoulders), jog.

Just mix it up from there and spend any extra time rehabbing your shoulder. Good luck.

thank you and i think that i will take your advice regarding squat central i can do back squats no problem and of course, the usual deadlifts, step up etc.. i think that the things that i have to avoid are anything overhead, anything like pullups especially kipping etc..

Check out Dick Hartzell's band exercises for your shoulders. Will do wonders if you do them daily. Look them up on Youtube. I swear by these and behind the neck presses(once your shoulders are mobile enough) to keep my shoulders healthy.

Yep band work and like Diesel crew shoulder stuff.

Squat and Dead and core work, running. Probably sled and prowler work might be ok too.

been doing a LOT of rehab band work and i also do a lot of Crossover symmetry which does help. i did some prowler pushes yesterday and it did hurt a bit so i switched to sled pulls (front and backwards) which felt great.
