My 4 Month Crossfit Challenge (Also hi)
Earlier this summer, my old resident assistant did a four month "Spartan Fitness challenge." He told me about fran and I discovered the site from there. I had been lifting weights for about a year, and had already lost 35 pounds since freshman year. I am junior currently. I was bored with my current workout routine.
So I took him up on it. These are progress pictures after four months of doing crossfit (June 1st until September 30). I kept the same weight (186) though the whole process.
End of September (serious looking):
In four months I went from being able to do 2 real pullups total to being able to do 30 straight. I have more shots from the summer, including some of my vicious sunburn in August, but they aren't that interesting. I'm also a member of the muscle up crew as of two weeks ago.
I haven't stopped crossfitting since and I love it. Unfortunately, My food finding resources are limited by money and my lack of a car, so I don't eat very well. I'm looking forward to jumping into a paleo-zone diet as soon as I have the resources.
