Age Restrictions...Advice

I was looking for some guidance regarding age limitations...

We are in the process of getting everything together for our affiliate (If HQ gives us the thumbs up) and was wondering at what point do age restrictions apply.

We are intending to have everyone over the age of 18 sign the waiver and I have seen other affiliate waivers which have a place for parent/guardian signatures. As an affiliate, at which age are you allowed to include in your classes with guardian approval and at which point is it considered CF Kids and you would need to be a CF Kids Affiliate?

I am asking because as it stands one of our (soon to be) trainers, currently has some HS athletes as clients and would like to involve them in the affiliate when we get running, but we are not sure if this is okay?

Your insurance company may have an opinion on this as well.

What she said. Your insurance company's opinion is the only one that should count.

Under 18, they need parent or guardian signature; our insurance allows us to train from the age of 14 and up.

Brian,

If you don't mind me asking...who is your provider?

We have short listed down to K&K and Nexo, but have not made our final decision yet. We were leaning towards using Nexo b/c of their association with the RRG, but your right, this is another factor that we need to consider with them.

Call Vaughn Vernon 801-688-4883 he's an insurance broker and can search for better rates for you. He's done other affiliates and a crossfitter himself, so he knows what questions you need answered.
