Thanks Jessica, we do our best to keep them very functional and low key

Re: Gym bags...

I got a light battle pack for Christmas from my wife and its amazing... I'll never get another bag unless its a battle pack. The quality in my opinion is equal to or better than 5.11 and I have been thinking about replacing my 5.11 3 day pack with a datsusura bag now.

It's great to hear that, especially since I think highly of 511 gear. I have always worked to keep improving the gear and I hope we can continue to offer the best for years to come. Glad you like the bag and please thank to your wife for me too

Re: Gym bags...

Hi All, we have a final prototype for the Mini Gear Bag (MGB) finally. The only change is the logo patch on the front needs to come up some and will be grey.

It's 44x27x27cm or approx. 17x11x11". Big enough for a fair amount of gear but small enough for light days or smaller people to carry

i'll work to get this out by summer.

Unhappy Re: Gym bags...

so, after the pages and pages about the datsusara bags i'm pretty convinced they are awesome but i need a bag that can also be carried as a backpack. no a backpack doesnt work and you all know why! you cant find anything. but its a 30-45 min trek through public transit and walking here in paris just to get to the gym, i cant farmers carry my bag the whole way, i'm not that awesome and its really screwing up my shoulder and neck with the over the shoulder one strap thing. i have to pack my bag for the whole day so theres no 'get a smaller bag' solution what ive been doing is using a regular duffel and putting my arms through the carry straps but it sucks and the whole one pocket for everything also sucks!
help!

why not go with Datsusara backpack? its a normal backpack (only awesome of course) but unlike normal backpacks that you can't find anything in, it can open all the way:
