tight adductors

even at rest now the right adductor just begins to get tight and ball up. help anyone?

Middle split? Massage should help. Hydrate.

If you can massage the spot WHILE doing a middle split stretch that would probably help. You can probably find out what's causing it during that time if you feel around for tight areas.

been working on massage and splits as well - just trying to find the old gymnastic muscles again. geesh 44 is harsh!

Warm up and stretch those adductors well. They are a big part of the deep squat in proper form, and key to leg flexibility. I've ignored them for years and it's pay back now. I'm grateful to CF for helping me correct this with air squats to the ball. Steven Low's stretch suggestion is one of my physical therapy stretches from last years groin injury. Glad you posted.
