Women are really struggling with that sled. Did they test this?

the women's contest is up for grabs and very even. i wonder how many sponsors and possibly even those in HQ are secretly hoping clever doesn't win? she is an amazing athlete and from all i have seen or heard a very nice and wonderful person, but not exactly a "poster child" for crossfit or what most women aspire too. not saying it's right, just realistic.

team event will be crazy atmosphere with the final being a winner take all.

thanks to all those here that are posting updates b/c it is hard to keep up
$5 says that the sled weight was picked so Annie has an advantage over Kristen

(Not that I believe that but there may be a grain of truth in there somewhere).

Also, the women need to get lower to the ground and use better technique (in some of their cases).

Btw, what's the time limit for this?

There should be awards if you win in your heat. Small - maybe something like 1000$.

12 minutes. I don't know if Annie has a strength advantage of Kristen though. They seem equally strong.

She has a leverage advantage being bigger for sled pushing.

Also, that's impressive to DNF 3 of the women from that group. Probably shoulda made it 15 minutes, or reduced the # of HSPUs. HSPUs always ruin the females' time.

But its purely luck of the draw who you get in a heat with, no?

That sled weight looks quite heavy, a couple of girls in that first heat struggled with it. Katie Hogan powered through it though like a champ. She has massive legs (thats a compliment).
