If you could live anywhere...

I'm curious what you all think, and this mostly goes to those of you that have been CFing for a while and have visited and trained at more than a few affiliates in the CONUS.

If you could pick an area of the US to live, where would that be? Taking into account everything about the city/town/area that is pertinent. i.e. cost of living, crime rate, quality of schools, etc., and of course, access to great affiliates!

Looking at the "big map"... the affiliate choice might fall quickly to the bay area of CA because of the CF history, but I already live in CA and it's pricey to live here... and I know there are a ton of great affiliates and trainers throughout the US (and world for that matter)

Any and all thoughts are appreciated. I'm not moving or anything, but it's nice to have long term ideas that one can work towards.

I'd stay right here. Unless I found a magical job that let me work summers in Seattle and the rest of the year in San Diego, I can't imagine a much better set up than living in San Francisco.

I've always wanted to go back to Sydney and live there for a while, but I'm not sure if they're affiliated.

Pretty easy for me... I'd move right back to Orlando. If for no other reason as its "home" for me.

I've only been to Sydney for a week, but I'd go back in a heartbeat. Friendly people, very outdoors oriented.

Denver. Actually just outside of Denver in the hills. You have everything you could want except the ocean, and for that just hold a sea shell up to your ear. There's skiing, biking, rivers, hiking, all the outdoor activities you could imagine. Then there is all the urban activities you could want like concerts, great food, museums, and an international airport. Its about perfect for my money. Not sure why I live in LA.

Agreed!!! I have been stationed here for 3 years and can not wait to leave!! I personally would choose the northwest. Particularly Seattle or Portland
