Body Transformation Since Starting.

I was 314 lbs and had 32% bodyfat (approx) when I attended the cert in jacksonville fla in sept. Since then I have lost 49 lbs weighing in at a leaner new me of 265. Thanks to nicole's information and following the easy block system also the WOD's it has been an awsome ride. If there is anyone looking for a place in columbia sc come and train with me at the gym on the corner of forrest drive and clemson ave 4406-b

yeah, after playing college ball i was convinced that i would never run again. then i was Crossfitting and then the wod was run 5k then 10k. i said i would try it and i ran the 10 k in 45 min! not bad for a big offensive lineman. then after that i was commited fully to the method of cf!

Re: Body Transformation Since Starting.

Hey Paul, I am a student at USC. I have 2 gyms to use as part of my tuition, but if you are looking for a partner for track WODs and running WODs I am interested. It's nice to know there is another CFer in the area (although I do not strictly adhere to the WODs). Which gym do you train at, I am not familiar with where Clemson Ave is.

Woot! Great to see another super heavy succeed! I myself started when I was pushing 300lbs (293lbs at weight in before I made my promise). I've been dorking around with my diet for the past 7 months, and only got it under better control 4 months ago. Since I started I dropped down to 264 (I hove between 262 and 265lbs) and about 24% BF I think, have to recheck.

Can you point me out with some of that advice you got from Nicole?

Holy crap 45 min 10k?

The top runner in the men's division at our local 10k race is a marathoner and he ran a 42 min (and he's probably 150 pounds soaking wet)...thats cooking dude!

CFJ #21 has all the advice from Nicole on the Zone.
